Search for hotels in Melaka

It's school starts tomorrow so getting sons ready for school tomorrow. Besides that we are looking forward for family events to go Melaka. My parents-in-law haven't been to Melaka for years. The last they visited were with us.

Hoping to find an affordable hotel rooms to stay in the city. We search for some hotels and get some replied. Hattan Hotel new in town but it's very expensive RM880 for a night, just 4 breakfasts included. That's really out of hands, RM880 if it's for two nights it maybe works.

Anyway hunt goes on for hotels in Melaka, prefer in town because I want to go cari makan with family. We haven't eat Satay lut lut for years and also the chicken ball rice. My wife was the one that visited Melaka a year back but she too didn't eat any as mention as she follow bloggers event, it's a day trip so they are in hurry to go and back from Melaka.

I also miss the Nyonya food in Melaka. Shopping will be our less priority as our main would be EAT!

4 Tips for Hiring a Contractor

Contractors can be your greatest asset when considering things like remodeling and room additions. If you aren't careful, however, you could wind up paying for someone who isn't even licensed! Here are just four tips to make sure you only hire the best in contractors.

1. Check Their Credentials

Not all states requires the same things from their contractors. For example, some want their contractors to pass an exam and have extension on-the-job training while others just ask them to register their names with the local brand. Make sure your contractor is actually qualified for the job before you give them a key.

2. Ask Them Questions

How long they have been in business? How many workers are within their company? How much of the remodeling project will be actually completed by them, and how much will be handed off to assistants and subcontractors? Don't worry about offering them with all of your queries. They should be open and honest with you if they expect you to be open and honest with them.

3. Talk About Money Matters

Contractors may charge you for their work in a variety of ways. For example, they could ask for a percentage up front, or they could request it all as a lump sum at the end of the project. They might charge you for the individual labor or materials or just bill you a flat flee for everything. Talk to your contractor to know what they expect.

4. Get a Guarantee

Never start a renovation without signing a contract. You'll want to specify things like schedules, budgets and project allowances within the next, and you should also include some kind of provision for damage or liability. You don't want to be blamed if there's an accident on site.

There are just four things to keep in mind when hiring a contractor. If you aren't 100 percent confident in their skills and trustworthiness, don't let them into your home. Contractors will have complete access to your family, your valuables and your property, so you need to trust them with every fiber of your being.

Remodeling and room additions for home or office

I am happy to share a good news with you that my friend has become new parents. After many years of marriage they are new parents to newborn baby girl. They have interest to check out remodeling and room additions for their home. I know how they feel because having new member in the family they will need bigger room for them. They would like their baby girl to have a room for herself with the baby cot. They told me that they will paint the room blue if baby is a boy, paint the room pink if baby is a girl. With Internet access, we can check the website easily from home and office.

Talking of remodeling and room additions, I am thinking of having room additions for my office. I have many files in the office and things are getting out of hands. I need a storage room perhaps for keeping the file.

My wife would like to have a remodeling of her room as well, I know she's having hard time to keep all her things. Maybe this is what we need room additions for our home. Everyone has got their budget in mind, so it is better to check which remodeling and room additions that you are interested in. If you have friends with same interest in mind, they can take a look at this website for more information.

Concern parents on toddler nose bleed

Yesterday my youngest son has nose bleed, he has nose bleed on the left nose in the morning while we go pasar pagi. Then tonight his nose bleed right nose, he just drank a bottle of milk then he fall asleep.

My son's child doctor, my wife just call up to ask and she's already on leave. Starting tomorrow until 20 July only she's coming back to her clinic.

Now my eldest son showing me his comic book that shows about nose bleed. The comic book is Good Morning Teacher, 07 series. Stated in his comic book.

Nosebleeds can caused by

  1. A dry nasal passage, generally the inside of the nose is slightly moist.Lack of lubricant during hot weather can cause the blood vessels to be brittle, easily ruptured
  2. Upper respiratory infections, causing inflamation, some illnesses can investigate bleeding, as can he application of blood thinning medication used to deal with hypertension, or high blood pressure.
  3. Dietary defeciency.
Well we still seek advice from doctor and specialist on why this happen. Seem it was quite common, of course we don't want to neglect this. If it is frequent it is not normal and better to see doctor immediately.

We'll need to monitor him through the night and tomorrow.
